1. Tokyo
Tokyo is the capital of modern Japan and unlike other countries, this place makes tourists do not want to rush to move elsewhere. Tokyo itself has so many fascinating charms to discover for tourists. As the highest mountain in Japan with a height of 3776 m, Mount Fuji is a famous volcano with its natural symmetrical cone which has become a symbol of Japan. The mountain is located on Honshu Island, southwest of Tokyo. These beautiful mountains are loved by artists, poets, and photographers and have been listed as part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site for inspiring many artists over the centuries. Mount Fuji is one of the Three Holy Mountains together with Mount Tate and Mount Haku. Climbing the peak of an active volcano is very difficult but useful. It is estimated there are about 200,000 people climbing Mount Fuji every year and 30% of the total are foreigners.
5. Nara
As another former ancient capital of Japan in the Kansai region, Nara offers many remnants of its former glory with eight temples, temples and ruins around the city. Due to frequent loss of prestige with Kyoto, this place is often empty of tourists but still provides many secrets and wonders to be admired. The famous sights in Nara are Todai-Ji Temple, Kofuku-Ji Pagoda in Nara center, Kasuga Temple, Heikokyu Castle, Nara Park, Isui-en Park, and many others.
